This painting I
did as a result
from a day at the airport at Springfield, Missouri when I was 10
years
old.
I was standing at the gate watching the passengers unload, when the
Captain
walked up to me and asked if I would like to see the cockpit.
I must
have had that "hungry" look.
Many years later I remembered the flagship name and decided to do a
painting so I
